Priests for Scotland is headed up by a Leadership Team which coordinates the principal work of the commission and provides oversight. The following are members of the Leadership Team:
- Right Rev. John Keenan, Bishop of Paisley (Bishop of Paisley and Bishop President of the Commission for Formation for Ministry)
- Rev. Thomas Kilbride, Director (Parish Priest, Christ the King, King’s Park, Archdiocese of Glasgow)
- Rev. John Morrison, Assistant Director (Parish Priest of St Mary’s, Paisley and Diocesan Vocations Director, Diocese of Paisley)
- Mrs Bernadette McCrory, Executive Co-ordinator (General Secretariate of the Bishops’ Conference of Scotland)

In addition, strategy and planning is brought together in an Executive Committe, which brings together those with responsibilities in the various stages of the Priestly Formation “iter“, from vocations promotion and discernment, through formation in seminary and into priestly life and ongoing formation. The members of the Executive are:

- Canon Mark Cassidy (Rector, Pontifical Scots College, Rome) – Discipleship & Configuration Stages of Initial Formation
- Fr Ross Campbell (Parish Priest, St Patrick’s, Dumbarton) – Director of Pastoral Year
- Canon Jim Duggan (Parish Priest, St Charles, Paisley) – Director of Vocational Synthesis/Diaconate Formation & Formation in Early Years of Priestly Ministry
- Ongoing Formation in Priestly Life (Representative of Diocesan OGF Directors Awaiting Appointment)
