Chaired by the Assistant Director of Priests for Scotland, this group is made up of the Directors of Priestly Vocations for the eight dioceses of Scotland. It is responsible for the promotion of vocations to the priesthood both locally and throughout Scotland, supports the discernment and reflection process for potential candidates for priestly formation and assists in the running of the Seminary Applicants’ process. Members of the Vocations Task Group involve themselves in both national and diocesan initiatives for the promotion of priestly vocations.
